The Alps are more than a landscape. They are a world shaped by nature, time, and the people who call these mountains home.
From the rugged valleys of the Grisons to the dramatic peaks of the Valais, from the majestic Bernese Oberland to the quieter mountain landscapes of Vaud, this photographic journey explores the many faces of the Swiss Alps.
My photographs capture not only the grandeur of mountains, the changing light, and the rhythm of the seasons, but also the traces of human life within these extraordinary surroundings. Alpine farmers, mountain communities, traditional villages, and the people who work the land are as much a part of this landscape as the rocks, forests, and glaciers.
Life in the Alps has always demanded resilience, ingenuity, and a deep respect for nature. It is this relationship between people and their environment that particularly fascinates me.
The Face of the Alps is my personal interpretation of a region where beauty and hardship, tradition and change, solitude and human endeavour exist side by side.
